Community Resources
The Village of Kent City was incorporated in 1908. It is located in the northwestern corner of Kent County – within Tyrone Township and is surrounded by an abundance of rich farmland. Kent City is primarily a bedroom community with industrial areas growing along the M37 state highway. The Village lies in proximity to the Rogue River State Game area. The natural resources of the area, in combination with the Village’s tranquil community character, and immediacy to the City of Grand Rapids, have helped make the village a family friendly town.
